1670 yılında inşa edilmiş ve bir çok işlevi bünyesinde barındıran anıtsal yapı kompleksidir. 1905’te yenilenen yapı, askeri nekropol, hastane, müze ve anıt olarak günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Sen Nehri çevresindeki 365 hektarlık alanda bulunan tarihi ve mimari açıdan önemli yapılar 1991 yılında toplu şekilde UNESCO Dünya Mirası listesine dahil edilmişlerdir.
