Mehmet Rebii Hatemi Baraz mentions a well located here in his book Beylerbeyi as follows:

Towards the middle of the street, a well mouth with a marble ring and iron cover can be seen. The inscription on the ring reads: "(Birüşifa) El-Hac Ahmet Süreyya Bey el-Kadiri halile-i esteemed Şerife Hatice Atiyetullah Hanım's el-Kadiri charities (R. April 25, 1320 - A.D. 1902)"
