Sultan Bayezid II Madrasa was founded in Amasya by Bayezid II in 1486. It was built and is a structure belonging to the Ottoman period. Has a “U” plan The madrasah, which was built in 1939, was damaged by various earthquakes and was last damaged in the 1954 Erzincan Earthquake. The General Directorate of Foundations carried out restoration between 1971 and XNUMX. The student cells located in the east and west arms of the building were covered with a dome, and the area used as a reading room in the south was covered with a flat dome with an octagonal drum.
