Built in 1964, the bazaar contains ceramic panels and abstract wall paintings by important artists of the period such as Füreya Koral, Attila Galatalı, Cevdet Altuğ, Arif Kaptan, Nuri İyem, Adnan Turani and Seniye Fenmen, within the framework of the union of architecture and art. A ceramic panel by Cevdet Altuğ covers a large area from the ceiling to the floor of the bazaar. Later, an escalator was built in front of this ceramic panel. At one entrance of the bazaar, there is Attila Galatalı's panel, and at the other entrance, there are ceramics made by Füreya Koral, mostly in pink and navy blue. Acrylic wall paintings by Nuri İyem and Arif Kaptan and Adnan Turani's relief panel in engraving technique are located around the columns of the first, second and third floors.
