The fountain, located in Camiatik District, at the junction of Mustafa Kemal Paşa Street and Mimoza Street, is made of cut stone. It is in the 4141 island, 62 parcel and has a title deed area of 3,23 m2.
There is no information about the builder of the fountain, and it is called the Lion Fountain because its water spout is in the shape of a lion's head. The trough is made of stone. A second trough, where excess water flowing from the first will be poured, is right next to the fountain. This addition is also carved from stone. The writing on a metal plate placed on the front of the fountain, which has a small niche on the left above the spout, has been erased and the plate has rusted.
