He is the fourth son of Mehmet Bey, who founded the Aydınoğlu Principality. Mehmet Bey left Tire to Süleyman Şah with the sharing he made. Tire became the center of the principality between 1390-1405. Süleyman Şah, İsa Çelebi, Selim Çelebi and Hızır Çelebi are buried in the tomb.

Its inscription reads: This tomb was founded in 750 by the great and generous emir, Süleyman Şah bin Mehmet bin Aydın -may Allah have mercy on each of them-.
