The Church of Ayios Polyeuktos is considered one of the largest basilicas in Istanbul after Hagia Sophia. The foundation ruins of the church, known to date back to the 6th century, are located in a park in Saraçhane, Istanbul. Archaeological excavations initiated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality are ongoing.
