The church, which has a three-leaf clover plan, is in good condition. H. Rott wrote in the early 1900s that there were frescoes inside. It is thought that the building was part of a larger church and was built in the 12th century on the site of another church built earlier.

Alanya Castle Inner Castle Byzantine Church, Located in the Inner Castle section of the Alanya district of Antalya 12th century Eastern Roman (Byzantine) It is a church from the period. It has a central dome and a three-leaf clover plan. It was built on the site of a basilica dating back to the 6th century AD, of which only the foundations are visible today. There are traces of frescoes in the church and it was taken under protection in 1999. 1
