It was a garden belonging to the Italian Levantine Aliotti family, who owned vast tracts of land in the Aegean Region and in Buca. The densely wooded garden also featured a small zoo with exotic animals. Within the garden stood an elegant mansion that burned down in the early 1930s and has not survived to the present day; near the mansion is a rocky outcrop adorned with pools and fountains that have survived to the present day. In 1925, Hasan Ağa of Sarıgöl purchased the pavilion and garden grounds for 4,000 British pounds.

Today, it is used by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality as Hasanağa Garden.1
