Hasanağalar Mansion, built in 1926 by Hasan Alaydın, is a registered mansion that reflects Alanya’s traditional civil architecture. The building was used as a residence until 1989; it was then granted to the Alanya Municipality for 30 years by its owners on the condition that it be used for cultural purposes.
The mansion was restored and repurposed for cultural use; the restoration project received the Sustainability Award as part of the 2014 Competition for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage Preservation Projects and Applications organized by the Union of Historic Cities. Today, it is used for cultural, artistic, and traditional handicraft activities.
Today, the mansion is operated by the Alanya Municipality’s Department of Culture and Social Affairs and is used for cultural, artistic, and traditional handicraft activities.
