According to its Arabic inscription, the modest hexagonal and domed structure, built in 853 (1449) with one row of stones and two rows of bricks, belonged to Hümâ Hatun, the wife of Murad II and the mother of Fatih.
It is not known to whom the second of the two coffins in the tomb belongs.
