The cemetery land, which is 1803 m2 wide, was donated by Anber and Hovhannes Yazıcıoğlu in 1855. Due to a road opened in the middle of the cemetery in 1932, the upper part was left to the Turkish Foundation in 1937 and it was converted into a Muslim cemetery.
