It was built by Murat II in 1427. It is a square-plan, single-domed, masonry mosque.

The structure, which is located in a small garden, also has a graveyard. It is made of cut stone with a single dome and minaret on squinches. It is located on the main walls. The lower row of windows are irregularly placed. There are four window openings on each of the east, west and south facades of the harim, one at the bottom, two in the second row and one on the drum. The rectangular lower row windows have pointed arched pediments. The upper row windows have pointed arches. The lower row windows are placed in rectangular depressions. The lower row depressions are molded and the second row is plain.

The minaret is at the north end of the west facade of the harim. The rectangular platform sits on a rectangular base with a cut northwest corner. The entrance to the minaret is provided from inside the harim. There are rectangular shaped depressions on each of the three visible faces of the platform. The high shoe consists of a triangular belt. There are bracelets made of cotton on the lower and upper parts of the hexagonal minaret body. There is a window at the east end of the north wall of the harim, the entrance to the harim at the west end, and the outer mihrab in the middle. The semi-octagonal outer mihrab niche is covered with a muqarnas arch. The outer mihrab is enclosed in a rectangular depression framed by a series of moldings. There is a low arched entrance door placed in a pointed arch depression at the west end of the north facade. The place for an inscription is empty on the entrance area. The transition from the square planned body to the round dome in the harim is provided with large toothed muqarnas. The six-sided mihrab niche is covered with a muqarnas arch. It is placed in a depression ending with a three-lobed arch. There are calligraphy and hand-carved decorations in the harim. There are three blind windows in the upper part of the north facade of the harim. The edges of the drum, the dome and the minaret cone are covered with lead.
