Located in the Muratlı district of Tekirdağ, the Unknown Soldier Monument is a historic memorial grave erected in memory of a Turkish soldier who fell during the War of Independence and whose identity could not be determined.
To preserve the monument’s historical character and pass it on to future generations, the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality has carried out a comprehensive restoration and landscaping project.
