Mehmet Ağa Camii, Rodos
Eski Çarşı’da, Sokratus Caddesi’nin ortalarında bulunmaktadır. Yunanistan Kültür Bakanlığı’nın 25 Ağustos 1948 tarih ve 23084/737 kararıyla tescil edilmiştir. Kitabesine göre, eski caminin harap olması sebebiyle, Seyyid Hacı Mehmed Ağa tarafından 1819’da inşa ettirilmiştir.

Senelerden beri harap olmuş olan bu camii imar eden, bahri ser tirendaz, Hacı Mehmet Ağa’nın ruhuna her namazda dua ediniz.

The Mehmet Agha Mosque (Greek: Μεχμέτ Αγά Τζαμί, from Turkish: Mehmet Ağa Camii) is a historical Ottoman-era mosque on the Aegean island of Rhodes, Greece. Built in the early nineteenth century, it is not open for worship like most of the other mosques on the island. It stands on a prominent place on Sokratous street in the commercial center of the medieval town of Rhodes.[1]
