Mısır Apartmanı

Apartman, 100 yılı aşkın süre içinde birçok ünlü isme ev sahipliği yaptı. İstiklal Marşı`nın şairi Mehmet Akif Ersoy, ünlü şair Mithat Cemal Kuntay, Atatürk`ün dişçisi Sami Günzberg, modacı Canan Yaka ve siyasetçi Hüsamettin Cindoruk’un Mısır Apartmanı’nı tercih ettiği biliniyor.

‘Art nouveau’ tarzında, birinci ulusal mimarlık döneminin izlerini taşıyan binada bugün restoran, tiyatro, galeri ve lokaller yer alıyor. sanatseverlerin ve ünlü isimlerin gözde yerlerindendir.

The Mısır Apartment or Mısır Apartmanı (Turkish for "Egypt Apartment") is a famed historical building on the renowned İstiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. Over the years, the building has hosted numerous notable persons and businesses, including Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Lazzaro Franko, Su Baykal, and Hüsamettin Cindoruk.^[1][2] It is considered one of the notable examples of Art Nouveau style architecture in Istanbul and was a popular spot for the high society of the city.^[3][4]
