Located in the Piremir District, the mosque was built by Hoca Alizade in 1495 on behalf of Pir Emir Sultan, who came from Bukhara.

Its ownership belongs to the General Directorate of Foundations.

It is understood from the cut-stone and brick work on the walls that they are works from the Fatih period. The portico and window arches, the eaves and the brick rosettes on the walls, the minaret adjacent to the mosque and the staircase heads are models of the architecture of that period.

The cone of the single-balcony minaret is concave and pointed. Its dome is covered with lead. The walls of the structure are built with three rows of bricks and one row of rubble stone.

It underwent a major renovation in 1961. The top of the prayer hall is covered with a large dome placed on an octagonal drum.
