These are the vault wall ruins of the Şehzade Bayezid Fountain, one of the works of the Tulip Period, dated 1142 AH (1729). A large part of it was destroyed in 2019.

The inscription of this fountain, found on page 208 of Nedim Divan, prepared by Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı, is as follows:

Shahriar-i Yemm-himem Sultan Ahmed, who remembers
Harunu'r-Rashid is the honorable person for his service
The needle made the garden of mercy uskudar
He made a new creation for every water of the moment.
God Almighty, with all his children, O glorious one
Make your fortune and glory more precious day by day
Remember the date written like this Nedîm
Pure rûşen fountain-i zîba-yi Sultan Bâyezid

1141 (1728)

The founder of the fountain, Prince Bayezid, is the son of Ahmed III.
