It is located in the Nişancı neighborhood, just west of the Ring Road, between the Otakçılar Mosque and the Aşçıbaşı Mosque. It is the second cemetery with the largest number of Ottoman gravestones after the Edirnekapı Cemetery. However, this is due to the gravestones that were brought here as a result of the ring road construction. Indeed, these stones are arranged in orderly rows. Most date from the second half of the 18th century, with the earliest gravestone dating1 back to 1570.
